Surfs up on the Dinghy Park
Big waves, lots of spray and some soggy boats. Thanks to Hugh and Billy who were down doing boat tie down duty. No damage so far.
Pretty wooly for Summer. Apparently it is Summer in case you forget. I did see Brittany Ferries steaming out into a rocky Channel. They are in for a special rock and roll experience.

Peter Hickling A.K.A one half of the Dr’s (although as they were consultants should be called Mister…….but hey ho whats a name between friends!!) and another club member and I whom checked and moved some of the boats tonight. Hugh also had an eye out from his Penthouse on the Hoe and offered help but I did the wise thing and left mobile and wallet in car…..got soaked last time I, Martin Bevan and Peter Hickling tied boats down on the quay.
Nice video clip of the quay, do you keep a laptop on you at all times??
p.s Martin’s boat is called ‘No Handles’ Steve Moore’s boat is ‘No Nails’.

Thanks for the fully qualified name check on the park duty. I was stuck at work until 8 so it’s good to know someone is looking out for the flotilla.
