The Bride

* The Bride selects the type of ceremony

* She decides on her dress and bridesmaid’s attire, also the flowers and accessories

* Starts the dancing with her Groom

* Throws her bouquet among the unmarried female guests before departing

* Writes thank you letters for wedding gifts received

The Bridegroom

* Selects the best man an Ushers

* buys the rings and pays for the church fees

* Buys thank you presents for the bridesmaid’s

* Buys the flowers for his bride, the brides mother, his mother, bridesmaids and buttonholes

The Best Man

* The best man is the Groom’s right hand man

* He keeps the rings and ensures that the groom gets to the church on time

* He checks the transport of the guests to the reception and travel arrangements for the honeymoon

Chief Bridesmaid

* Assist the bride to dress and organise the other bridesmaids

* Holds the bouquet during the ceremony

Bride’s Father

* The father gives the bride away and receives the guest at the reception

* He traditionally covers most of the expenses

Bride’s Mother

* The bride’s Mother is traditionally in charge of the proceedings

* Takes care of  most of the arrangements for the reception

* Plans a guest list with the Groom’s Mother
