The Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club is situated on the water’s edge halfway between Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican. We have magnificent sea views over the sound, with three city marina’s close by.
We are an active sailing club and the tireless efforts of our members in recent years means we are able to offer competition all year round. There is a good slipway and a secure dinghy park which is home to a fleet of boats available to hire, as well as a private harbour where yachts can dry out.
The Clubhouse has excellent facilities, but our “Jewel in the crown” is the View Restaurant where you may enjoy fine food and stunning scenery. The ballroom, with its own large bar, has the same magnificent views as does the sun terrace.
Most spectacular of all is our RPCYC viewing lounge – The Armada Room – with its elevated position providing a panoramic vista over the whole of the harbour.
Our food and our service has gained such a fine reputation that we have become a popular venue for weddings, parties and business functions.
** You do not have to be a sailor to enjoy all we have to offer. Many members join simply for the social side, enjoying the camaraderie and warm welcome guaranteed at our friendly club which surely boasts one of the loveliest locations in the south of England.**
